Formative assessment: Integration (Rubric, Scale and Checklist)

Rubric.
The purpose of develop a rubric is to provide feedback for teaches and students. Rubrics as a tool give students responsability of criteria.
The purpose of this rubric is to immers and assess students in the communicative context by developing an oral presentation about  self-introduccion.
At the end of the activity the student will be able to introduce by himself providing basic information as name, age, country that he or she comes from and nacionality clearly and accurately.

Here is the rubric to develop the oral presentation activity.

The procedure in developing this rubric was to select firstly the categories and put it in order from the more complex to the easiest one. About the content of each category and the value, it was a little bit difficult to define the content of what I wanted students to do and develop, but the most difficult part of the content was the middle because I had problems in determined verbs and characteristics.

At the moment I created a rubric in Rubistar web page was interesting because it gave me more ideas to organize the content of two categories that I made up, and provided me more categories to complete my rubric. Rubistar is an amazing tool, but it needs more categories to make complete and useful rubrics.

Minerva Model Scale.
The purpose to made up a new scale for tecahers' evaluation is because most of the time students do not know the content of the Minerva Model, so insted of apply the questionnaire that the university created I wrote new statements easily to comprehend for students, and in this way teachers could have better results in their evaluations.

Here is the scale of teachers´ ecaluation according with the Modelo Universitario Minerva Chapter 7.

Checklist.
The next image is the checklist of what must be in my blog.

Questionnaire.

The last point of this post is answere the next questionnaire.

1. How does it work for the teacher, classmates and yourself? This blog works for my teacher as a portfolio where are the major part of my homework to assess, for my classmate it works as source of communication where they can comment about my work and their comments are useful for me to improve if it is necesary, in my opinion it is! For me my blog works as evidence also as a tool, it makes me recognize my improvment in the subject and as a tool let me share topics and my opinions with my classmates and teacher.
2. To what extent does it match in practice what you read? I cannot say anything about my practice because I do not have students, but in my teachers' practice, it does not happen all the time. I have had 2 teachers that are involve to work with communicative competence, and the things that they done were acoording with what I have read.
3. Would you implement it in your own classes? Why? Or why not? Yes, I would like to implement a blog because the purpose is to make and engage students use the second language as it is, and a blog is a perfect example to develop and achieve Communicative Competence approach in them with the tool that it has, also I can show my future students what I have done in my blog with the help of my teacher to apply the communicative competence approach.
